How to add Google Analytics to your shop
In this tutorial you can learn how to track your Shapeways shop. With Google Analytics you can see statistics of page visits and respond to good results. This way your sales can grow because you know what actions will send more visitors to your shop.Step 1: Create a Gmail account
Step 2: Create a Shapeways Analytics account
2.1) Go to Google Analytics and click "Access Analytics".
2.2) Click in the dropdown at the top right and choose "Create a New Account".
2.3) Click the "Sign Up" button.
2.4) Fill in the forms and click "Continue".
Important: the website's URL must be "http://www.shapeways.com/shops/yourshopnamehere".
2.5) Fill in your name and click "Continue".
2.6) Agree the terms & conditions and click "Create New Account".
2.7) Leave the options on the tracking page. You don't need this code. Just click "Save and Finish".

Step 3: Copy and paste the code in your shop edit page
3.1) Now your Analytics account is ready to go. Now copy the code (highlighted in red below here).
3.2) Go to your "edit shop" page and paste the code in step 4
3.3) Nice job! You're all done now. Now wait for a while, Analytics has now started gathering information about traffic to your shop. This may take a while.
