This concept shape was designed for ceramics, but has not been tested in Ceramics yet.

But you CAN get it in any of the Strong & Flexible and Alumide!
Also added sandstone as an option.

This concept shape was designed for ceramics, but this may be very difficult to glaze properly, so Ceramics is only for the experimental and brave souls.

So I recommend either Sandstone or any of the Strong & Flexible and Alumide.
10 cm high.

Tax report 2012 - Day 2

Reality, full of holes..

So I got to work more with one of my topological obsessions ;-)

This concept shape was designed for ceramics, but this may be very difficult to glaze properly, so Ceramics is only for the experimental and brave souls.

But you CAN get it in any of the Strong & Flexibles and Alumide!
Also added sandstone as an option.

Not entirely sure if this one will stand up properly though ;-)
10 cm high.

Aromaph
A mysterious dark and weaving ceramics piece forms a uniquely shaped toroidal aroma bowl.
Fill it with your favorite potpourri or scented water and enjoy the synergy of senses!

10 cm in diameter and 4 cm high
Both suitable for standing or suspended from above.

As with the Phamora, on the bottom it will have a small unglazed white ridge, which can easily be darkened with a permanent marker or a touch of black paint.

Morapha
Another in a series of ceramic explorations.

This toroidal bowl might be used for growing herbs in the kitchen,
either standing on it's own or hanging from above.

The whole is 10 cm in diameter and 5cm high.
As with the Phamora, on the bottom it will have a small unglazed ridge.

Photos show actual printed ceramics!

A double quintal candle stand to celebrate the five ceramic colors and two finishes.
Two rings with five arms hold each other tightly.

It really shows off the very smooth quality of the new ceramics!
And yes these are actual photo's not renders!

Notes:
The bottom remains unglazed, in normal use this is not visible and even provides some grip.
Suitable for short (half length) candles with a diameter of about 22mm.
With a full length candle it is likely to topple over and would not visually match.
Please handle with care and do not to let the flame get to low/close to the stand.
I recommend to add a little wax between the candle and the stand so it sits tightly,
and/or wrap the bottom of candle with aluminium foil.

A playful vase or flower pot.
Designed for Glazed Ceramics.
Made from a four generation binary tree,
with a two generation cavity.
This should allow full inside glazing.
It has not been printed yet, but I do not expect much trouble with this one.

Phamora Ceramics!

Is inside out? Or is it not? Perhaps both?
This is an Amphora from another space-time.
An ancient object which we knew had to exist.
And after years of excavation in other dimensions we finally found it!

A very exotic vase with a unique near-impossible shape, suitable for use with dry flowers and striking enough to stand alone.
Theoretically it can also hold water in the toroidal bottom part, read practical details below.

Very suitable as a wedding gift to symbolize love and infinity.
The number eight (or sideways infinity) plays an important role in this piece,
both in the number of arms and the cross-section of this model.

Notes:
To improve print quality and after some deliberation with production, this model has been slightly updated on August 24th 2012; The arms have been thickened and the holes enlarged to improve strength and glazing.
Still I recommend not to put a lot of stress on the handles.
Refer to rendered images for the latest version. I will update photo's asap.
The bottom it stands on, is unglazed, which is invisible during normal display.
All clearly visible parts will be fully glazed, but there is a chance some parts on in the inside might not, which may compromise it's ability to hold water.
While production does their absolute best and all recent prints turned out perfectly glazed and hold water, due to the complexities involved, there is no 100% guarantee for to be absolutely watertight.

A hanging cup for your double espresso the morning after ;-)
It's in such a state that it cannot stand on it's own, so it really needs some support.
Luckily it has :-)
When you order, you will get the Hangover cup and the matching stand in glazed ceramics.

Printed Ceramics
With the current process, the round bottom on the cup will likely show some minor pits in the glazing from a small tripod it stands on during the baking.
And the bottom of the stand/saucer has rougher structure.
The rest of the glazing is fully covering, so it's safe to drink from.

Also available as a more sober version (standalone)

The cup is designed for a double espresso(60 ml), but can hold a maximum of about 90 ml.
