Icosahedral Tube 50mm

Yeah, I know, it's not really an icosahedral tube.
Some of these names get really difficult, and long, and annoying.
But she looks simple and elegant, doesn't she? (she?)

So, anyway, I started with a truncated icosahedron, extruded the pentagonal faces, added handles, blah-de-blah, etc., etc.
And it ends up being more of a tubular dodecahedron, with curved edges.

This is a simple wireframe of a stellated truncated icosahedron.

The pentagonal faces were stellated a shorter length than the hexagonal faces.

Gear Machine Test r2

This is a test piece with 15 gears (10 front, 5 back) to be printed as a single print with all pieces in position.
After receiving the printed test piece, it's back to the drawing board to tighten things up. Hope to have a better working model soon!
