I  love designing objects, homewares, graphics & jewelry. In particular right now my focus is on fractal based sculpture, 3D fractal models and object designs. I also enjoy building geometric forms, and graphic design based creations. There are a myriad of things I love to create in many different styles, using a variety of different techniques. "Sphere within a sphere within a sphere" small sculpture with a moving ball within a ball (3 spheres in all). The surface consists of a structure formed from a voronoi pattern.

Lichenfan : Part A of the lamp shade

The Lichenfan light shade is pictured 3D printed in Shapeways 'sandstone' material, a very rigid, hard material that feels like sandstone. It is pictured here as a lamp shade.
This is Part A (the main part) and Part B of the lamp can be separately purchased 3D printed from Shapeways.
The lamp base, electricals and light fittings are not included. The lamp base pictured is 'Hemma' from IKEA. Alternatively just use the lamp shade with an L.E.D candle (battery powered 'candle'). See photographs of the light shade with an L.E.D candle.

Care instructions:The material is brittle if dropped on hard surfaces, so handle it as you would a precious ceramic object. SAFETY NOTE: Not suitable for use with real candles. 

An organic-looking, sculptural fractal light shade, to add fascinating illumination to your room. This sculptural form is constructed using 3D printing. This technology can achieve intricate details and complex undercuts that could not be created using traditional manufacturing processes.

Lichenfan sculpture is 3D printed by Shapeways in their 'sandstone' material, a gypsum based, very rigid, hard material that feels similar to sandstone.
It can be used as table top lighting with an L.E.D candle (battery powered candle). The LED candle is not included. Shapeways 3D prints and ships the light shade / sculpture part only.
