Quantitative Design produces design for the new technological era. In the 20th century, the organic and ornate shapes of traditional craft were replaced by smooth geometric forms suited to factory production. In our time, the rules have been rewritten -- computer-controlled machinery produces intricate decoration as readily as plane surfaces and right angles. At Quantitative Design, we use this new flexibility to create beautiful objects that reference the past yet are inherently modern.
QD's Matt and Martin are two former college roommates and present (and almost present) physics PhDs. Their collective resume features giant lasers, fashion modeling, photography and satellite design.
