Purchasing this model does not buy you a completed puzzle. You'll need your own Alexander's Star, and you'll need to assemble yourself.
This DIY model gives you parts you can use to modify one of your own Alexander's Star puzzles into the Bronto Star, a larger cousin of the rare Dino Star puzzles. The puzzle pictured shows my Alexander's Star modified with the pieces available here.
Alexander's Star puzzles have somewhat catchy movement, and this mod doesn't fix the issue, so turning can be tricky.
Stickers can be purchased for $5 by emailing stickers@puzzleforge.com
This one is based on the concept by Twistypuzzles.com forum moderator "Sausage". This version is named "Compy Cube", after a famous little dinosaur.
It's a very easy puzzle to solve which makes it a lot of fun! I think people who are intimidated by twisty puzzles may find this one fun and rewarding to play with.
I created a smaller version of the Compy Cube in order to bring the price down, offering both sizes for sale. This is the smaller version.
You will receive a DIY kit of raw 3d printed parts. You will need to provide your own 4-40 size screws, washers and springs to assemble your puzzle. I prefer this puzzle without springs. Stickers can be obtained by emailing stickers@puzzleforge.com for 4 dollars plus shipping.

I created a smaller version of the Compy Cube in order to bring the price down, offering both sizes for sale. This is the larger version, matching a normal Rubik's cube size.

This is the third in my series of face-turning icosahedra, the Radiolarians. The series is named after a small ameboid protozoa that can produce a skeleton in this shape.
The first straight cut face turning icosahedron in the world was my "Radiolarian 2", which has slightly shallower cuts. This puzzle, the "Radiolarian 3", was the follow up with deeper cuts which add a part in the center of each face.

THIS VERSION HAS NOT YET BEEN PRINTED. The new version minimizes the corners further for what I feel is a better looking puzzle. Photos are the first version, and I am including a CAD image of the new version.
I believe the radiolarian was the first face turning icosahedron.
This is the first in my series of face-turning icosahedra, the Radiolarians. Or Radiolaria? The series is named after a small ameboid protozoa that can produce a skeleton in this shape.
