The Kong? class (???????? Kong?-gata Goeikan?) of guided missile destroyers serves as the core ship of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF)'s Escort Flotillas. They are a modification of the United States Navy's Arleigh Burke class (Flight I).
The S?ry?-class submarines (16SS) are diesel-electric submarines that entered service with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force in 2009. The design is an evolution of the Oyashio class submarine, from which it can most easily be distinguished by its X-shaped tail planes. The S?ry?s have the largest displacement of any submarine used by post war Japan.
The Shirane class destroyers are a class of Japanese destroyer originally built during the late 1970s and still in active service. They are built around a large central hangar which houses up to three helicopters and they are the natural successor of the Haruna-class destroyers. They were the first ships in Japanese service to be fitted with 3D radars - the NEC OPS-12.
The Atago class of guided missile destroyer (????????atago-gata-go-ei-kan?) is an improved version of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF)'s Kong? class destroyers. It is a Japanese variant of the United States Navy Arleigh Burke-class destroyer (Flight IIA).
A Vintage iPhone (4, 4S) cover from the failed campaign to elect Günther von Schwarzburg of the House of Wittelsbach to the role of Holy Roman Emperor. The coat of arms is that of Günther’s opponent, Wenceslaus (later Charles IV) of the House of Luxembourg. Note, the lion rampant is missing its crown and langu. It is unclear if this was an accidental omission or a deliberate slight to the future Rex Romanorum.
The Utah Class of Aerolyth Battleship was designed to be a “First Line” flying battleship capa-ble of taking on the strongest flying vehicles on Earth and directing a sizeable water-borne fleet as well. The Utah class conformed to the “Standard” airship design of the US Navy – max speed of 35m/s, heavy survivability features, and extensive automation.
