This is the ultimate sleek corpus for Pilot's erasable cartridges as well as for Caran d'Ache rollerball refills. Don't let awful pens harm your eyes!
The Ballpoint corpus holds your cartridges tightly.
Make sure you've got the right ones: Pilot cartridges (picture) are "supported", also Caran d'Ache rollerball refills (but no "Goliath").
To plug the corpus you need this: Ballpoint Plug (it works with a bayonet fitting)

NOTE:
* The black pen has a rougher surface than the other colors.
* When you receive the product from Shapeways, there can be minimal amounts of nylon powder left inside. Because the pen is designed for a exact fit the powder has to be removed, which is really easy: Just hold it underneath a water tap and let water flow through it (that does not affect colors in any way) and let it dry.

NOTE: I did not have this product printed yet, but as I had several prototypes of this form factor I am sure everything works perfectly.
This corpus is plugged using a very simple mechanism: Put the cartridge inside and lay tissues packaging film (one or two layers) on the opening. Then press the silver plug into the opening, so that the film holds it in place, and tear or cut the rest of the film off.

This is the elegant cap for both of these ballpoints:

The cap fits the ballpoint snugly and holds well.
It may be very tight, when you receive it, but after washing left nylon powder away
and some use it will fit perfectly.

This is the practical plug working with a bayonet fitting for both of these ballpoints:

This is the plug for your ultimate silver ballpoint: Ballpoint corpus (Silver).
It plugs using a simple system, but great:
Press the silver plug through one or two layers of tissue packaging film into the corpus' opening. Tear or cut the rest of the film off. Now the plug fits very tight as the film adds pressure.
