The ‘Sixties Series’ is a range of collectable Math Art with some aesthetic twists. Each piece has been designed to convey its own meanings to the mind and they each have that ‘special something’ that makes them desirable... The only hard part is deciding which ones are for you… The more you have of these the better they look on display. An elegant take on the tealight candleholder, this piece has been designed with a continual looping heart design... A sweet table piece for that romantic dinner
The Caged Hairy Mongrel was designed specifically for the metal3d competition. He''''s meant to represent the primal in all of us that we keep caged from society behind a very fine line... We know and he knows he can break out of his cage any time but for some reason we agree that he''''s better where he is for now.
The cage stands well on its footing and also has a loop at the top for hanging.
The mongrel is ''''holding onto'''' the loop at the top but is free of it so he will be able to swing back and forth in his little cage...
This would be an insane piece to print in titanium and the angles of everything were designed as per the contest guide.
A play on the design theme I''m running with at the moment. This time more of a swirling galaxy. Minimal use of materials for maximum space and strength.

A little experiment pushing shapes and perception. THe structures here make the design incredibly sturdy but at the same time the piece has an elegance of flow to it

The Elegant Bowl is a gorgeous aesthetic piece created with pattern of radiating circles and a broad rim. It is designed to hold the Sixties Series Balls. It will also serve as a great decorative piece or as a fruit bowl in any home wanting to add a little elegance and style to it... Great idea for a unique gift

This little beasty is to solve the problem of where to keep my pens on my desk. He's built from a form follows function perspective with a large opening, tapered inner, teeth to hold the pens in place and a very low centre of gravity. I tried to get some cheeky gnarly personality into him to remind my girls to stop umm... 'borrowing' my pens all the time

Sometimes the simplest design is the best... Here we have a perfect torus loop stand which provides a firm support for the weird and wonderful balls that so many people are designing here...
At 4 bucks it's a no brainer to add one of to an order each time you buy a ball at shapeways
Hi guys, this is my AWN challenge entry. Meet Wink Wink, one of my favourite characters in a classical reclining nude pose. It's a silly take on the serious side of art and I think Wink has definitely got character...
I hope you think so too:)
He's hollow to keep costs down and so is the cloud. The plan is to reproduce these guys and distribute them into designer/ art toy stores. Wink will be airbrushed and detailed and the cloud will be clear acrylic painted white on the underside only.
Octi Docti was designed and modelled by my 12 yr old daughter, she's very proud of him especially since he's been featured on the shapeways front page. Enjoy:)
This is the first from my Collector Ball Series which takes full advantage of the shapeways printer ability to 'trap' or collect objects within other objects. This one is call Oo because that is the noise people always make when they see it... 4 balls in all here and the structure lends itself to great flexibility.
