9mm Heavy Duty Camera Rig

I created this remote camera rig for the more serious work. It serves as the base for camera specific mounts such at the 9mm GoPro Mount found here. This rig will allow you to mount and unmount your camera setup in seconds, without making any modifications to your heli, making that this mount can be easily passed around on the field.

The rig fits to 9mm skids such as found on Align T-Rex helicopters, but in general any 9mm skid will be fine. The rig is fastened using M5 bolts, such as the GoPro Thumb Screws. If you don't have GoPro Thumb Screws available, a normal M5 bolt with a washer will do fine.

This item consists of both the left and right side part.

A 9mm rod will connect both skid pipes, providing a very stable base for mounting camera's. The rod used in the pictures is a skid pipe from an Align T-Rex 700 which can be found in any hobby shop.

The rig was been tested on various helicopters including Align T-Rex 600, T-Rex 700 and the T-Rex 800 Trekker.

9mm GoPro Mount for T-Rex Heavy Duty Camera Rig

This 9mm GoPro Mount will fit to any 9mm rod such as used in the 9mm Heavy Duty Camera Rig (not included), providing a firm connection.It can be mounted using the standard GoPro Thumb Screws and will host any GoPro Camera or GoPro mounting accessories.

The pictures illustrate the 9mm GoPro Mount used in combination with the 9mm Camera Rig also found in this store (not included in this item)

T-Rex 450 GoPro Mount

This lightweight mount allows you to mount a GoPro camera to the landing skid of an Align T-REX 450 Pro V2. The counter plate to fix the mount to the skid is not included, use a tie-wrap to fix the camera to the landing skid. If possible, attach the battery to the other side of the landing skid to act as a counter-weight. Fly carefully, I will not take responsibility for any damages.

Align T-Rex 600/700 GoPro Mount

This mount allows you to attach a GoPro camera to the skid of a model helicopter. It has been designed for an Align T-Rex 600 Pro, but in general it should fit any skid tube with a diameter of 9mm. The mount is engineered to allow the use of standard GoPro mounting hardware and accessories. Please keep in mind that since this is a fixed mount if you have vibrations in the heli they will translate into vibrations on the image.

iPad Wall Mount

I created this model because I didn't like the iPad wall mounts available on the market. Traditional iPad wall mounts are typically very visible in your interior, especially when the iPad isn't in them. I wanted a mount that would be barely visible when the iPad isn't in, but aesthetically pleasing when the iPad was mounted. When the iPad is in, the effect is created that the iPad is held to the wall using classic photo corner stickers.

This model is a minimalistic wall mount for an iPad 2 or iPad 3. It consists of 4 individual corners each 19mm wide and high. Each corner is mounted individually to the wall using 1 screw for each corner. Slots have been provided for easy accurate mounting. The mounts provide a 6mm gap between the iPad and the wall, allowing you to route a dock cable or headphone cable behind the iPad

After the corners are mounted, you can easily slide in or remove the iPad from the top.
