Elytra

Here you'll find biologically inspired sculptures designed for 3D printing.  I strive to make forms that intrigue and surprise, and whose fabrication would profoundly challenge traditional production methods.  Printing is uniquely well-suited to reproducing the involutions, overhangs, and cavities that biological development so effortlessly creates.

I will print and post photographs of every design available here.  If you want to try any of these designs in a material that I haven't tested, please let me know.
