Product Description
A set of 3d printed frosted detail plastic T72E1 Steel tracks for the Hasegawa M24 Chaffee. The steel tracks were used by the Chaffee in WW2 and gives quite a distinct look. The tracks come in 4 pieces per side for ease of assembly. The set includes the highly detailed drive sprockets with correct number of teeth and lightening holes.
Recommended assembly sequence: (use super glue to attach 3d printed parts)
1.) Assemble Hasegawa Road Wheels and rear Idler wheel into place.
2.) Attach the 3d printed drive sprocket track piece making sure the bottom track touches the first road wheel.
3.) Attach the lower track run under the road wheels (shorter of the 2 flat track pieces)
4.) Attach the rear track piece over the idler wheel, making sure to touch the rear road wheel and bottom track piece.
5.) Attach the Hasegawa return rollers. You will need to add a half millimeter of plastic to the return rollers attachment points to push is further out so that it will clear the central guide teeth of the tracks. See photos.
6.) Attach the top track run and you are done :)
