I recentely purchased a set of Jaybird brand Freedom F5 bluetooth earbuds, while so far I love them and are some of the smallest and best sounding bluetooth buds on the market. I previously was a die hard Klipsch brand audio fan, the one thing that Klipsch has going for them that no other company can match is their beloved patented "oval" shaped rubber eartips. I had so wanted to be able to still use the comfortable Klipsch eartips with the Jaybird, so I designed and adapter that slips over the end of the Freedom F5 earbud that allows the use of Klipsch's eartip.
The adapter is intentionally designed with a slight loose fit as I did not want to damage my Jaybird earbuds by permanately gluing anything onto them, so in order to make these work simply cut a small narrow strip of common black electrical tape and wrap a single turn around the second two tapered rings on the end of the Jaybird earbud. This will ensure the adapter nozzle fit's snuggly onto the end and does not slip off when in your ear. So far testing proves the hold very securely and transfer sound well into the ear.
