Hinge Ease - External hinge cover for lubrication

It was commonly held stand that to properly lubricate a door hinge one must remove the entire hinge pin from the post.  This is not only a cumbersome and lengthy process but also can create a safety issue of a unhinged door.  With the commonality of spray lubricants one may opt to spray directly onto the hinge which while resolving the squeak or non-operational movement issue, it creates another problem as the lubricant from the hinge which at this point most likely contains old oil, rust and dirt is now spread all around the door frame or wall near and behind the hinge.  In addition the excess lubricant due to gravity if not contained will drip onto hard surfaced or carpeted floors creating yet another issue.  Hinge Ease allows someone to easily and efficiently oil hinges on commercial and residential doorways. "Hinge Ease" is composed of a strong yet flexible plastic that fits over the door hinge leaving an open face for oil (WD-40) or lubricant to be applied to the hinge. "Hinge Ease" contains a catch basin at the bottom that allow for excess oil to gather. "Hinge Ease" also has an easy grab handle which allows multiple placements of grip when the device is placed on a door hinge.
