Right End Dock #1 w/Ramp & Dock Load Out

HO Scale Warehouse Wall Section, based on the pre-cast "tilt-up" style concrete warehouse walls that are commonly used to construct modern warehouses.

This model features:

• one (1) "Below Ground/Ground Level" Truck Dock Door opening w/built in Dock Door Surrounds ("Load-Out" Version), Dock Bumpers, and Dock Leveler
• one (1) pre-constructed Ramp/Apron
• one (1) 40x45 Roll-Up Door opening
• one (1) Ramp
• one (1) "Above Ground/Trailer Height" Truck Dock Door opening w/built in Dock Door Surrounds ("Load-Out" Version), Dock Bumpers, and Dock Leveler
• two (2) Personnel Door openings

This is a right end dock model with a concrete wall protecting the dock. You will need an end dock to the left side of the model to make a complete protected dock, or expand the dock with MID sections to make a longer dock. The Apron is long enough to accommodate a docked 53' trailer, and appropriate approach space should be left in front of the apron to allow your trucks room to back into the docks. You will need to have a "pit" dug out in your layout base to house the ramp/apron portion. The whole model measures 275mm wide x 102mm tall x 201mm deep. The ramp/apron whole in your layout base will need to be 62mm wide x 11mm deep. 

Each Truck Dock Wall is available with "Load-In" and "Load-Out" Door Surrounds, as well as a section that has one of each "Load-In" and Load-Out" Surrounds. Use the "Load-In" Surrounds for a dock that you plan to have a trailer docked. The Trailer will fit inside the inside recessed portion of the surround and sit flush with the dock bumpers. This will give the impression that the dock door surrounds are in use sealing the rear perimeter of the trailer protecting the dock workers from outside weather conditions. "Load-In" Surrounds do not need to have dock doors in place as the trailer will hide the opening. Use the "Load-Out" Surrounds for a dock that is empty and does not currently have a trailer docked, these docks will need docks doors. Additionally, each Truck Dock Wall will be available without door surrounds.

The Walls are only 1mm in order to keep costs down. Each wall has a pre-molded base that can be used to glue to your layout base. Base measures 10mm wide and are 1mm thick. I have added additional supports that run vertically and horizontally along the backside of the walls where the expansion joints are molded/recessed. On both sides of the wall are half expansion joints so when another wall is joined in parallel, the expansion joint will be the same as the others. The topmost back support should be used as the brace/guide for a roof to be glued in place. Extra Roof Support may be required depending on how large of warehouse you choose to create! I would suggest using a thin piece of styrene as an added support when butting two wall sections and joining them to each other.
