Bee (industry) cufflinks

Cufflinks with a bee motif. This motif is used to represent industry and forms part of the Barberini family crest. The Barberini were Florentines who spent a lot of time in Rome. Maffeo Barberini even became pope and the bees can be seen on his papal crest in St Peter's in Rome.

The Palazzo Barberini in Rome hosts the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Antica.
