Mermaid Body

A British Rail 'Mermaid' Wagon body built to 2mm:1ft 1:148 scale intended for use with the Stephen Harris 2mm finescale etched kit. The test print was very strong and all rivet detail was present. The model will need to be washed in warm soapy water and scrubbed with an old toothbrush to remove grease and wax to reveal the detail and allow paint to adhere well. Some of the sides will have slight ridges from the way the layers are built up, but these are reduced alot by the paint and can also be carefully smoothed with an abrasive. You must be a member of the 2mm scale association to access the associated etches.
