27 different projects were proposed for the KV-4 project. The creators of the game "World of Tanks" appear to have based their design off project Strukov, with a main armament of a 107mm cannon, and a secondary turret with a 45mm cannon. I was comissioned to make the WoT model in 1/285 scale, so I decided to release it in 1/100 scale as well. Though this version uses the exact same chassis as object 223, as well as other heavy prototypes in the KV series, all possible KV-4 designs would have weighed between 85 and 110 tonnes, demanding the addition of an eighth pair of road wheels (the same as the KV-5, another project that never left the drawing board). Some time after I made this model, the game version of the KV-4 was changed, and now has a secondary turret that is more consistent with most of the historical design proposals. I have no intention to change this model, but I will eventually make more historical KV-4 models, both at my leisure and upon request.
