22mm Watch Band Links

I recently got the Pebble Time watch and wanted and easier to use watch band and also wanted a link type style. I started designing a strap and began with flat rectangles with a curved back. The links came out very well on my 3d printer and they were comfortable. Quickly after the first design I started rounding out the flat side and came up with the current design that I have now been using for several weeks. The new design is nice and rounded and quite comfortable and easy to put together. The band requires two 1.8mm quick release spring bars that can be purchased online and some elastic string no larger than 2mm to keep the links together. Colored string can show through the links if the plastic is clear enough. Magnets can also be incorporated to make a quick strap release. The holes in the links may need to be drilled out with a 2mm drill bit depending on the printing methods used.
