Minecraft Lithophane Nightlight Cover

This Minecraft themed night light cover is a tested and functional lithophane as well as a wall projector if a strong enough light is used. It is printed in glow in the dark filament which allows it to keep the room from ever being completely dark even when the night light is off. It even clearly displays the minecraft creeper blasting through a wall when not illuminated just through it's glow. It is very neat to look at it from the side and to feel the odd shapes that go into making a 3d image when lit up or illuminated with a night light. It seems like an optical illusion, which it kind of is. It fits perfectly over a classic wall outlet and nightlight, but may not be able to fit around all nightlights like the older non LED one I used in the picture. This is why it comes with left and right labled spacers! The nightlight cover and spacers can be easily mounted in about a minute on the wall using double sided 3M tape or nearly any screw by just putting the left spacer under the left pre-countersunk tab and the right under the right and screwing it into the wall with a philips on a hand drill. No pilot hole needed! People will love to print this nightlight lithophane cover if they are a gamer and want to show off their minecraft swag, or even if they want to save electricity by not needing to always have their nightlight on because of the glow in the dark properties.

  My local middle school is lucky enough to have a 3d printer that I was able to use to print this, but they have only 1 for near 1300 students due to budget problems which correlates to a over a week wait each time you want to print something you have designed. Another printer would completely change what the making process would be like at our school and my fellow students would be able to be twice as productive and creat things in a practical time zone.  #iDTech3DContest #3DMiddle
