The Tennessee-class ships featured a new hull design unlike those from classes before; a post-Jutland design where casemates are absent from their hulls. They also featured cage masts and two funnels. The 2 ships of the class (Tennessee and California), along with the 3 of the Colorado/Maryland class, were often referred to as the "Big 5".
This item depicts the ships as they would've have appeared before/during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Includes 4x aircraft representing OS2U Kingfisher.
