Kup Head

This is Sgt. Kup's head I created to fit on a Generations Orion Pax deluxe figure. I saw that figure converted to Kup and immediately wanted to do it, but I didn't want to steal the design outright. So, I decided to create a brand new custom head and I have custom weapons for Kup in my shop to make the design more original.

This head "pops" onto the 4mm ball joint on the Orion Pax figure and is printed in 3 pieces: the head/face, the helmet, and the cigar. I did this to enable easier painting of the small details. The head is based on the IDW "Last Stand of the Wreckers" character.

I have successfully tested this head in WSF Polished material. The head is designed with some interference between the head and helmet to allow for material loss during the polishing process. Some light sanding will be needed for a proper fit if ordered in unpolished materials.

UPDATED 01/10/13: I added an adapter peg to this model so it can be used on other figures. The peg has a 4mm ball joint so it can be used one of 2 ways. You can plug the ball into the socket on the head and cut the peg to length then mount it to your figure however you choose. Or, I have an internal hole in the head that the shank of the peg fits through. Push the peg up into the head and then snap the ball into the socket on your figure. You can then pull the peg back out and trim it as needed.
