Ballista (28mm scale)

Here is a miniature ballista, perfect for castle defense and siege scenarios or perhaps to arm a warship! Essentially a giant crossbow, ballistas in various forms were used in siege craft from ancient times through the Renaissance era. This one is scaled to work with any 25-32mm historical or fantasy miniatures. The model consists of 3 parts which fit snugly together, the ballista itself, its elevation mechanism and base/legs. It can be glued together but the piece will sit securely without glue, allowing the weapon to pivot on its base.
