Based on a cleaned up version of the map published in the appendix of Lowel''s 1895 "Mars" book, superimposed over a modern texture of Mars.
The globe also follows the convention of the early Lowell globes of the era, meaning that it is "upside down" compared to the usual way Mars is depicted nowdays.
