An intriguing geometrical model, five wire frame Platonic solids are woven together. This model prints as five separate pieces which are not connected, yet they cannot be separated. The tetrahedron, cube, and dodecahedron are the most tangled. Even if you could remove any one of the three the other two could still not be separated.
The edge lengths and strut diameter, as well as the orientation of each polyhedron must be chosen carefully for this to work. The edge lengths are: cube (3.2 cm, fixed at the start), octahedron (2.66 cm), tetrahedron (5.45 cm), dodecahedron (1.70 cm), icosahedron (3.25 cm). The strut diameter is 2.5 mm.
