Based on Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera
(LROC) imagery, this is an alternative take on how we look at the moon. The sculpture has both the texture and colouring of the lunar surface twisted into the well known form of a Möbius strip. The accurately modelled craters twist endlessly around the loop's single surface.

Printed in Full Colour Sandstone, the model has a rough texture, almost as if it is made from the regolithic surface of the moon itself.
The lunar surface, in terms of scale height, has been greatly exaggerated to enhance the look and feel of the model.
