Product Description

This model is different from my other DNA models because it's colors are by atom, according to the international CPK standards. Hydrogen (H) = White, Carbon (C) = Black, Nitrogen (N) = Dark Blue, Oxygen (O) = Red, Phosphorus (P) = Orange.

In this model the exact molecule structure is shown. Reading the sequence from this model is very difficult though, beacuse the bases cannot be recognized by their color but only by their structure.

This specific model is regular option "Standard, Horizontal". It is size option "Standard" and has a Horizontal orientation. Scaling 1A = 1,0mm, which means 1:10.000.000.000 or 1:10 billion.

It encodes the name R. Franklin, a scientist who played a big role in understanding the structure of the DNA molecule. R Franklin in DNA code is CGT TTT CGT GCT AAT AAG CTC ATA AAT. This text is coded by universal regular amino acid codons only, making it possible to read the encoded text by using the universal codon table only.
