This is an N-scale (1:160) model of a 13-axle Trailer King Wind Turbine Tower Schnabel Trailer. It was built around the Micro-Train wind turbine blade kit that comes with a section of a tower. See photos for reference.
Build Instructions: (TOWER NOT INCLUDED)
1. If not using a Micro Trains kit, the mounts for the tower are for a approx 15-15.5mm diameter for the opening. The length of tower you want to model is then up to you. You can check Evergreen/Platruct for tubing options.
2. The tube should pressure fit over the top mounting bracket and above the lower supports.
3. Be sure you put the proper ends in the appropriate position, they are designed to go together only 1 way.
Modeling Note - you may need a small support under the middle of the tower section you choose to use. this will keep the schnabel parts parallel and not drooping from the weight of a long plastic cylinder.
