Hanging Ornament ~ Medieval Tile Design

The beautiful flower design of this ornament has been adapted from the original drawing by Sir Augustus Wollaston Franks, The British Museums' first Keeper of British and Medieval Antiquities and Ethnography. This particular design is from a early 14th century medieval earthen~ware with lead glaze floor tile found in the south midlands England UK. I love the idea that hundreds of years ago when this tile was designed 3D printing would of been beyond imagination! How far have we come from those days past?
