10mm Square Housing

This housing is designed to hold a 10mm x 10mm x 1mm piece of B270 glass, which can be obtained from Edmund Optics if glass is desired. This housing has been designed with bumps along the sides of the slot for the glass, which may have to be ground down to accomodate your individual piece of glass, as the glass thickness tolerances are +/- 0.25mm. To complete this aperture, you will need one #8-32 x 2-1/2" HEX HEAD machine screw and one #8-32 nut. These are not commonly found in local big-box hardware stores and may have to be ordered online. You may be able to carefully grind down the sides of the head of a pan head screw as an alternative to ordering screws online.
