GTW Wood Caboose S Scale

This kit is an S scale model of the Grand Trunk Western's reinforced wood underframe, center cupola wooden cabooses in the 77007-770031 series, built in 1923 and some lasted into the 1960s.

An excellent article on the GTW's cabooses appeared in the January and February 1999 Railroad Model Craftsman.

This kit includes a fully detailed underframe, AB brake valve, brake cylinder, combined air reservoir, brake levers, AJAX handbrake equipment, steps, smokejacks for both coal and oil stoves, marker lamps, and toolbox. The modeller will provide trucks, couplers, some brass wire, paint, and decals.
