The AM-50 is a bridging system bridging system developed in Czechoslovakia. Up to eight sections can be linked together to cross wide rivers. The bridge is carried on a Tatra 813 cross-country truck that also can deploy the bridge.
The Czech Army has a
short article about the AM-50. And there is a Flickr photostream of the
truck in action.
This item consists of a truck deploying a bridge section. A set of
two trucks carrying the bridges plus two deployed bridge sections is also available.
Other Warsaw Pact engineering equipment can be found at
Luke Ueda Sarson's shop. On his blog he has an
entry with a picture of the model being used in a game (close to the end of the article).
