Product Description
One pair of B&O wood beam, leaf spring trucks of a type used in the 1840s and 1850s. Other early railroads used a similar design. Approx. 48" wheelbase.
Requires 28-33" wheelsets with an axle length 24.5mm to 25.5mm (up to 1.01" like a typical MDC/Roundhouse wheelset)
Because of their small size and fine detail, Smoothest or Smooh Fine Detail is the prefered material.
Clean with alcohol before painting with enamels or acrylics. Use toothbrush soaked in Bestine rubber cement remover if particularly greasy.
