1/1000 Scale Walkabout Class Starships

These are a single pilot craft, but can carry a max passenger count of 14. Can be used as a combat craft, or as a SAR ship. It's longer than a runabout & about as wide and a bit taller. It's got a much longer range, with a max speed of warp 5.4, so it's extremely fast for it's size.

It's got twice the armor plating of any ship it's size. It's got an old school impulse drive that came off a ship twice it's size and it rarely breaks down, but has a good thrust for a ship this size. It is not intended as a fleet craft, but something for the civilian and commercial markets.

To own one of these means freedom to travel the stars. Some say this looks like the great grandfather of the Scampers. 1/1000 scale. Tell me what you think of this design. 

Some friends of mine though these would work well as Pirate raiding party ships. Like the old style 'Long Boats'. Well after thinking it over, they have a point. These would work for that.
