Product Description
Originally launched in 1895 as an auxiliary cruiser and used as an Imperial Yacht, (yes 1895) she was extensively rebuilt by the Soviets in the 1930's and converted into a mine layer, of which she carried 390 of them. She operated in the Baltic, and acted as the Flagship of a fleet of Sweepers and Mine Layers. With in hours of the German Invasion, the Marti was one of the first Red Navy vessels to begin wartime operations.
