The CLAW

Add this CLAW to your DJI Phantom/Inspire to make flying your drone an even more gripping experience!

Pickup (and drop); waterballoons, packages, balls, confetti, a smaller drone, or give your guinea pig an aerial tour of the neighborhood!

Workings:
- The claw should be hung from a servo winch, mounted to the bottom of your drone, as can be seen in the mockup picture. The servo could be controlled through the 7th channel
- The winch should be a double one, with two lines on one spool (see picture)
- The winch will lower or pull up the claw and open it when at its lowest position
- Attach one line to the top disk and one line to the bottom disk of the claw
- When the line attached to the top disk reaches the fully unwound position, the line attached to the bottom disk should still be wound around the spool one or several times. In this way the claw will open as the bottom disk further unwinds and lowers, while the top disk is being pulled up as it will now wind up in opposite direction. Reverse to close the claw. (you can experiment with some wires wound around a pencil to get a better understanding of this mechanism)

Servo Mount:
There are many different types and sizes of servo's, therefore I could not make a universal mount that fits all. However, if you provide me with the correct dimensions, I can model one on request.
