Dodecahedron Earrings, clean style

These earrings feature one of the Platonic solids, the dodecahedron.  This is the only completely regular solid that can be built with regular pentagons.  In Plato's writing, he associated the dodecahedron with the overall shape of the universe.  This style features clean lines with straight, round wires making up the wireframe of the solid.

These earrings are the same shape as the dodecahedrons in our clean style Platonic Solids earrings, but the single shapes here aren't so dangly.

These earrings come with a loop connecting the two dodecahedrons.  That lets Shapeways treat them as a single object, which makes it easier for them to handle.  When you get them, you can clip the loop with fingernail clippers or snips to separate them.  Then just add fishhooks or other earring findings.  If you aren't interested in assembling them yourself, we offer completed earrings on our Etsy and Amazon stores.
