Product Description
This aircraft, the direct antecedent of the famous Thunderbolt fighter, was developed by Seversky from his P35 design. The Lancer saw limited service at the beginning of the US involvement in WW2 due to its unusually good high altitude performance.
The spherical recess underneath the model is for mounting it on a 4.5mm (.177") BB.
Revised (25-Jul-2013) with smoother canopy framing.
Revised (29-Jul-2013) resolved problems with rendering of inverted aircraft.
