Not all of the 33 escorts of the Ukuru Class entered service until the end of  WW II. To save time and money, the design of the Mikura Class escorts are once more simplyfied, to deliver such a boat between 3 and 8 month after starting the construction. Like all of the japanese vessels, the amount of AA-Guns are raised during their duty. Set of 11. 6 x 1944 and 5 of the 1945 variants with increased AAA.

Nicht alle der insgesamt 33 gebauten Geleitboote der japanischen Uruku Klasse wurden noch im WW II fertiggestellt. Um Zeit und Geld zu sparen wurde der Entwurf der Boote der Mikura Klasse noch einmal vereinfacht, um eine Bauzeit von nur 3-8 Monaten zu gewährleisten. Während ihrer Einsatzzeit wurde, wie auf allen japanischen Marinefahrzeugen, die Flak erheblich verstärkt. 11er Satz, 6 x 1944 und 5 x 1945 Variante mit verstärkter Flak.
