The Rong Head - with poseable eyebrows!

Originally designed for Meister5 on the TFW boards, what we have here is a custom head based on one of the most well-loved characters from the IDW Transformers comics, the inimitable Rong... Ring... er, Rung.

The head is designed to fit on a 5mm ball joint (and it will, of course, fit onto the full Rung figure I offer, Transformers Comics Tribute - MTMTE Rung, and comes with poseable eyebrows (it includes two pairs of eyebrows, in case you lose/break one). If you intend to buy, please note the following:

1/ The ball joint is, as with my Starscream head, a little loose (since it's designed to not be too small, and also so that it can take a layer of paint). You can either thicken the ball joint with superglue/nail polish, or paint inside the socket for the joint, to make it grip better.

2/ IMPORTANT: the little nubs on the inside of the socket will wear down if you keep putting the head on and removing it (due to the nature of the powder used to print Strong&Flexible items), so try to avoid doing that too many times before painting and sticking it on for the final time.

3/ Once you've painted it, I would glue the forehead piece in place, otherwise that's liable to come off, too. Take care not to glue the eyebrows in place, though!

4/ The eyebrows are designed to work on a specific side each; the right eyebrow has a slightly longer "axle" than the left, so you can tell them apart.

Assembly Instructions

1/ Slot the eyebrows into the channels on the forehead piece (putting them in the correct sides).

2/ Peg the lower half of the head onto the forehead piece, with the eyebrows in place.

3/ Enjoy your Rong head!
