Product Description
The buckyball (Buckminsterfullerene) is molecule shaped like a soccerball, with a carbon atom at each point and a bond at each edge. Named after American architect R. Buckminister Fuller who designed a geodesic dome with the same fundamental symmetry, C60 is the third major form of pure carbon; graphite and diamond are the other two. The molecule is one of the roundest and most symmetrical molecules known to exist.
