Product Description
Phone holder for use with phones while in a case (modeled for use with iPhone5/5S in an InCase case). 1/2" thick phone case capacity. Best with phones 2.5" wide.
Intended for use in cars with a conveniently located Card Holder Slot (such as VW Tiguan).
Key Features:
Fits in short deep type card slot holder
Push to grip, pull to loosen/release functionality
Holds Iphone while phone is in its protective case.
Revision 1: Pinch was insufficient on original model and spring was to weak to encourage adequate release separation space. This revised version has a thickened spring section and longer wider "ramp" stretch to offer better pinch. This model has been printed and is discovered to be achieving all design intention goals. Durability is yet to be proven but certainly feels suitably robust upon initial inspection and comparison to original print...which conveniently broke minutes before the arrival of revision 1.
Percriptive modifications: Add spot of Silicon rubber to inside side-of-phone grip face to increase hold (handy near driveway grade changes and speed bumps). Alternatively, an elastic hair tie has proven handy when looped around the holder arms and underneath the phone and around a charging cable.
