ALCO/GE/IR Boxcab Locomotive Frame is made to fit 2 NWSL Stanton drives. The coupler pockets are attached to the bolsters, clip those off and attach to coupler pockets once you begin assembly. The MDC (Model Die Casting) Boxcab locomotive shell fits perfectly onto this frame. Sand the lower frame flush with the front of the locomotive and then add details to suit. This most recent version has the coupler pockets removed so you can add your own Kadee coupler boxes as per customer's requests.
Shown in the lead image is an (in progress) Boxcab built for a client. It was built with two stanton drives, wired to a TSU-1000 Tsunami decoder for sound and control.
