About this Product

The 5-sided die that has been obtained by cylindrical filleting 5 of 30 edges and by cylindrical curving 10 of 20 faces of regular icosahedron. The die has five convex four-part faces meeting in two vertices. Two central parts of each face are flat and two outermost ones are cylindrical of changing radius. The die rests only on the flat face segment and exposes the upper face whose flat part is oposite and paralel to it. To obtain other proportions (for example shorter distance between vertices) another gyro-elongated pentagonal bipyramid or pentagonal trapezohedron can be used as a basis. The die can be dextro- or laevo-gyrous.
