BB46 Maryland[1944]
- last refit carried before the end of the war. Virtually similar to BB45 Colorado, except for the old director at the mainmast, and absence of aircraft handling rails.
- In 7 April 1945, she suffered a kamikaze hit at the battle off Okinawa and was only able to return to active duty after Japan surrendered 14-15 August 1945. Her single 5" secondary batteries were replaced with dual 5"38cal by then.
Requires snips/clippers to remove turrets from under the ship; cut stems to length for hole; and adhesive of choice to affix them. Note #3 turret have 20mm AA stations on the roof.
