The AERO-51E Munitions Handling Unit is a USAF approved munitions trailer, which replaced the MHU-141 and MHU-110 trailers. The deck features a center opening of the trailer allowing for loading/unloading of all weapons, with all loaders. The AERO-51E is equipped with four pneumatic tires mounted on two axle assemblies capable of supporting the weight of the fully loaded trailer at speeds of 15 mph and an empty trailer at 30 mph.
