ThumbRail (Bridge)-fits Fender Amer Dlx Jazz 5

The ThumbRail is a long thumb rest for a bass guitar that runs the length of the right hand playing surface (between the pickups for this half rail) allowing for an endless amount of tone variation with a comfortable and familiar hand position. This eliminates the tone-limiting "thumb on the pickup" locations or hand stretching to get where you want to be to get the right tone and attack. Just play.

Secures at standard pick guard screw locations using your existing screws, making it an easily reversible update to your bass.

FITS: This unit is designed specifically for the Pre-2010 Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass V (5 string with 3.6" pickup spacing) and assumes the use of a standard thickness pickguard (2mm).  It may fit others, but has only been tested on those years and models listed below.

The Half ThumbRail is available in both NON-Polished and Polished plastics as well as some metals. Non-polished has a textured surface which ads some grip keeping your thumb in place nicely. If you prefer a smooth surface, order "Polished Strong & Flexible"...available in colors too.
