N Scale Mid-Train Unit Body Shell for New York, New Haven & Hartford (NYNH&H) Haven 'Roger Williams' RDC Trainset. The New Haven RR had this train built and delivered in 1957 by Budd. The train was based on Budd's contemporary Rail Diesel Car technology (but was NOT rebuilt from existing RDC cars) and made use of new features designed and built especially for this trainset. Four Midtrain cars were built for this one-off six-unit train (with two end-cab units, available here separately). One Midtrain car survives today, along with both cab units. All six cars were powered, and this body is designed to fit (but not fasten to) the Kato N scale RDC mechanism with some modification to the mechanism.
