Spherigear Triangle was proposed by Bram Cohen. The puzzle has three spherigears that are connected in a triangle by three gears. The mechanism is based on the
Spider Gear puzzle, also proposed by Bram. A move is made by turning two or three spherigears together. The object is to scramble the puzzle and then to realign all gears again. One variation has only two instead of three connecting gears. Can you deduce why?
