Rune: Entru - Small (Gollum)

This Design is intended to be used as an expansion to a normal Rune Set. Specifically, it is sized to be matched with the Small Nordic Rune Set.

Note: A Normal Rune Set Alphabet has 24 Runes in it. Though, since the 1980's people have often added the Wyrd (Blank) Rune, to the set, bringing the total up to 25.

Bone Casters: Will often use a Figurine to represent "The Client" that the Cast is being Read for. When the Bones have been Thrown, any bones that fall near, or touch, the Clients Figurine, are considered to be specifically related to them. We like how this tends to work. So we create this "Figure Rune" to serve as a similar 'focal point' for a Rune Casting.

It works particualrly well, if you 'Free Cast'. As opposed to using a Spread. And it works best when you are using a large number of Runes, or doing a Full Casting with all Runes.

Focal Points: Many Bone Casters will also include a couple other "Focal Points". So they might include a "Look Here" Bone. And Maybe a "Pay Heed" or Caution Bone. So, if you have a Client Bone, a Look Bone, and a Heed Bone. Then you have three bones that create three focal points, in your Full Casting.

Also: Sometimes it is helpful to add multiple figurines. For example, if you are seeking to understand a relationship issue, you can add one figurine for each person in the Casting. Again, this is a Bone Casting technique. But we like it so much, that we often use it in our Rune Castings. Note: Of course, you need to be able to differentiate the figurines (I call them Gollums). So, Color Coding Helps. We recommend 3d Printing 3 or 4 Entru Runes, each one in a different Material, so that you can tell them apart.

Details affect the Meaning: In this design, the on one side, the Head is large. On the other side, the Torso is large. You can add meaning to this, based on whether the Rune falls Upright, or Reversed (Upside down).

Big Head: Ego, Thinker, Intellectual, Rigid Rules, Conceptual, Soul, Children (have big heads), etc.

Big Torso: Fat, Hunger, Emotional, Heart, Heartfelt, Hunch, Intuition, Greed, Resources, Tangible. etc.
